Warner Bros World: resin floors and waterproofing, park empty

When a floor is laid over a surface that takes millions of footfalls a year, every joint is a weak point. Seamless systems — resin and decorative toppings — answer that, but they demand a prepared substrate and waterproofing done properly underneath.

The photographs were taken after hours with the park empty so the surface reads clearly. Low angles show reflectivity, joint lines and the transitions from road to pavement: dark asphalt-effect roadway with a painted yellow centre line, cream terrazzo-look pedestrian bands, brick-textured aprons and curved kerbs.

This is a record of completed work, not of the process. It shows what actually gets measured at the end — how even the surface is, how straight the line runs, and how the gloss behaves under the themed lighting.
