Who sources the materials?
We do. Sourcing is a stage of the project in its own right and it is not put on you: we buy the materials against the agreed design, bring them to site and check them before the work starts, so a missing box does not stop a fitted crew on the day.
In practice that means you do not have to work out quantities, compare suppliers or wait in for deliveries. What is asked of you is smaller and comes earlier: photos of the space as it is today, measurements if you have them, and the names or pictures of anything you have seen and liked. The earlier those arrive, the less of your quote is guesswork.
The materials line in your quote is estimated from the agreed design and sits separately from the labour, so you can see what each side costs. If you want a specific tile, fitting or finish, say so during the design and scope stage and we will price it in. The costs that travel with materials — transport, waste removal, special materials — are shown as separate lines on the quote before you accept it.
Choices close before anything is ordered, which is why they are worth thinking about early. A change agreed before the order costs far less than the same change agreed after it: ordered materials are a verifiable cost, and if a project stops once they are bought they are among the few things that can be billed to you — documented before they are billed.
If you would rather supply something yourself — tiles bought earlier, a tap you already have at home — tell your project lead before the quote is finalised. It is possible, but it changes two things: what we are able to guarantee on that item, and who answers if the quantity falls short or the item arrives damaged. That is why we record it on the request itself rather than leaving it in a conversation.
If something that was not visible turns up after the strip-out — a cracked pipe, a screed that will not hold — we stop, show it to you and give you a new quote. No extra material and no extra work is carried out or invoiced without your acceptance.
Nothing is paid through the website: not the materials, not the labour. The payment method is agreed directly with your project lead once you have accepted the quote, and you are never asked for card details on the site.
