Badly fitted drywall gives itself away quickly: the joints show through the paint as lines, the false ceiling sags in the middle, a partition shakes every time the door closes. What makes it last is the part nobody sees: a straight, well-fixed metal frame, boards hung with staggered joints, acoustic insulation where a room needs quiet, and cables and pipes run inside the frame instead of over the wall. We build partitions, suspended ceilings, niches and lighting coves in Tirana, Durrës, Vlorë and every other town in Albania.
What is included
- A metal stud frame, levelled and fixed to walls, floor and ceiling
- Drywall partitions, with one or two layers of board on each side
- Suspended ceilings, flat or stepped, with recesses for LED lighting
- Niches and shelving built into the wall
- Acoustic insulation inside the partition, where the room calls for it
- Cables and pipes run inside the frame before it is closed
- Tape and filler on joints and corners, to a surface ready for paint
What is not included, or is done as needed
- The electrics and light fittings, connected by the electrician, as needed and as their own line in the quote
- Painting after the jointing, as its own line in the quote
What it costs
We do not price from a desk. We come and measure on site, and after that you get a written quote with labour, materials and VAT set out separately.
What we will need from you
These are the papers this work usually needs. They are not a condition of starting — we say so up front so the work does not stop halfway.

- Photo and publication consentWhether we may use before/after photos of this property in our own materials. Refusing changes nothing else.

We come to the property, take the measurements and set the scope of work: the state of the walls, the services and the floor. We do not price a job we have not seen.
The offer separates labour, materials and VAT where it applies, with the deposit to start and the lead time. Every revision is kept as a new version, so the history stays.
The crew arrives with one lead answerable for the work. We source the materials and check them before anything starts.
We walk the quality checklist with you, put right anything on it, and the work we have done is covered by our guarantee.
Questions we are asked
How much weight can a drywall partition or false ceiling take?
The load is carried by the frame, not the board. For a TV, shelves or wall cupboards we put reinforcement inside the wall before it is closed, so tell us at the visit what you plan to hang and where.
Does a drywall partition stop noise?
Yes, when it is built to: acoustic insulation inside, two layers of board, and well-sealed junctions at floor and ceiling. A hollow wall with a single layer divides the room but lets almost all of the sound through.
Can drywall go into a bathroom?
Yes, using moisture-resistant boards. In the shower area those are waterproofed before the wall tiles go on, exactly as a brick wall would be.
How long does a suspended ceiling take?
Usually a few days for one room: the frame and boards go up quickly, while the jointing needs several coats with drying in between. The exact time depends on the area and the levels in the ceiling, and it is written into the quote.
