'O Contemporary': a white-box gallery, from fit-out to hang

A contemporary art gallery built as a white box, shown both mid-fit-out and hung with work. The space has burnished grey concrete floors, white plastered walls, freestanding plinths and a black ceiling with services left exposed, carrying track lighting and mesh basket trays.

The installation frames show ladders, the ceiling grid still being worked on, and a marked-up reflected ceiling drawing held in the finished space. In a gallery, lighting is not a detail — it is half the job.

A note on rights: in several frames most of the picture is taken up by third-party artworks. Those photographs can show the space; they cannot be used to reproduce the work.
